Yes.  I woke up and watched the royal wedding.  To speed things up, I'm going to make a list of IDCs and IDGAFs:

1. I woke up at 4am to watch the wedding.
2. I love the royal family.
3. I love Charles and Camilla.
4. I think Charles is handsome.
5. I hope he doesn't abdicate, and I hope Camilla becomes Queen.
6. Sometimes I feel left out being an American and not having a monarchy.
7. William should just shave that strip of hair up top and own being totally bald.
8. I thought everyone looked gorg and I love the hats.
9. I thought about William getting married in the same place where William the Conqueror was coronated, and the idea of that much tradition and everything made me a little teary-eyed.  Of course, it was also like way early.
10. I love the Queen so much - I will totally cry if (not when, IF) she ever dies.  DON'T DIE LIZ OKAY.

Now I'm kinda...punchy?  I went back to sleep and dreamed that my family was at the wedding and everyone was committing horrible social faux pas and didn't feel terribly rested, but I could be feeling worse.  I'll eventually do something productive today.  Maybe.

Hee, love your list -- I wouldn't have had you pegged as a royal family -ophile. I kind of wanted to get up and watch the ceremony, but I've been short on sleep and got to bed late last night. :/ Saw pics this morning, though -- gosh her dress was gorgeous. (I'm *such* a girly girl when it comes to obsessing over wedding dresses. Also, I've recently decided that I'm a sucker for all things Kate Middleton, and that I'm ok with that.) Interesting that there weren't any bridesmaids.

I'd say I became interested in the royal family with the one-two punch of Her Majesty Mrs. Brown and Elizabeth - those are two excellent movies, portraying two most amazing queens. So I started reading, and have sort of continued since then.

Her dress was very pretty - traditional, yet modern. Very Grace Kelly. I wish she hadn't been quite so tan, but that's the tiniest of nitpicks.

I thought her sister was her bridesmaid? Unless she was just train-holder and baby-wrangler, LOL.

I love Her Majest Mrs. Brown, and I saw Elizabeth when it first came out, but don't remember it very well.

Yeah, I checked out clips on youtube after I posted, and figured that out. She looked amazing, too.
