This is my first challenge for writerverse!  (Which seems like it will be a fun comm, so I'll pimp it again.)  This is a short story based on my novel.  It's a stand-alone, though, not an excerpt.  It's like fanfiction of something I wrote myself?  Is that a thing?

A long, long time ago, we had a pretty lively discussion about fanon.  (Man, remember when B5 fandom was kinda active?)  I wrote: Me, for instance, I like to imagine that Sheridan listened to classic rock growing up because that's what his great-granddad listened to - remember, "As my great-granddad would have said, 'cool'"? - and that when his parents were running around doing diplomat-y stuff, he stayed with relatives.  He probably got shit for it at the Academy.  But when he's in his office, late at night, doing boring paperwork, he just rocks out to "Carry On My Wayward Son" or something.

So when tasked to make a character-themed playlist for tvrealm, that's immediately where my mind went.
