Ha, did I actually finish the show before you and Holly? I just finished S7 a few months ago, and have seen every ep except Shades of Gray, because I heard it was God-awful. For some reason, Netflix has had First Contact listed under "Very long wait" for months now. Gr.

You finished first! The library discarded S6D1 and I just haven't gotten around to watching those episodes through other means, and I refuse to skip out of order. I did at least download the eps. I just need to...watch them.

I sort of liked Shades of Gray? I mean, it was terrible, absolutely terrible, but kind of funny in a MST3K way. I would totally recommend watching it that way, as a matter of fact.

Oh, no, you don't need to do that. I have the episodes, I just usually watch things snuggled up in bed. I could still do that, all I have to do is convert them and load them onto the PSP.

In fact! I will do that when I get home. No more procrastinating! I will watch Star Trek!

Thanks! The first few rows are the best - the first 13 are the ones I did just for this challenge, the rest are old ones. (Mostly from about 3 years ago, when I was watching TNG pretty steadily.) You can really see when I stopped just slapping a shiny texture on top of everything!

I've been guiding a group of n00bs through the Star Trek series in chronological order and this post is going to make them very happy. I love the color intensity; great job.

Girrrrrl Gates's hair in the first season, it just killed me. It's like they intentionally fried it and made it look as awful as possible. I think in the later seasons she was just wearing a wig, wasn't she?

Not really, no. I found the Trek fandom to be too huge and firmly entrenched to even attempt to make inroads. I looked for P/C fic once but didn't find much - was probably looking in the wrong place.
