This and that; new June media.
Jul. 1st, 2011 06:14 pmMy sister and I bought hydration packs, and they are amazing. How did I exist before I could wear a backpack filled with water? I AM SRS. HOW I EXIST. I wore mine for the first time when I went on a walk/jog last night, and the difference it made was astounding. I can never find a water bottle big enough to carry the amount of water I actually need if I'm going to do 3-5 miles, and rationing the water as I go just psychs me out, and I get thirstier and thirstier. Being able to lug 2 liters on my back and not have to carry a bottle is just fantastic. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
Right now I'm waiting for the sun to go down so I can go for my walk/jog. (I don't like to say "walk," because I do run quite a bit, but I'm not yet up to just running [fucking hills], so it feels like a lie if I say I'm going for a run. Anyway.) It's blasted hot. Also, our air conditioner quit at work yesterday, and by the time I left at 5pm it was 80 degrees inside. Such fun! I hate summer, you guys. I really, really do.
