(I'm going to start keeping track of books I read that I've read before, although I won't be doing that with movies or TV.  Mostly because I hate when it looks like I've only read one book in a whole month when that's not the case - this past month was especially irksome in that regard because I'm reading like three different books simultaneously right now, and I'll probably finish all of them boom-boom-boom right in a row.)

I wanna watch Going Clear so bad but I try really hard to watch my movies in a legal way or not at all (it's bad enough I stream pretty much all my shows when they are not on NEtflix -.-).

YES at you being so close to the end of season 3 of Bates Motel, season 4 is intense and amazing and I can't believe it's already at the 8th episode.

Yeah, I had to wait to watch Going Clear until it made it to my library, because I won't download/torrent movies. If you can't get the movie, though, see if you can get the book - same title, written by Lawrence Wright. The documentary was based in large part on Wright's research for the book (and he's interviewed in the documentary as well). It was a fascinating read.

Yeah, I'm really bad about sitting down to watch hour-long drama episodes of TV. One episode left of last season's Bates Motel, two episodes left of last season's Orphan Black and Fear the Walking Dead; it's like I can't ever quite manage to finish a season of TV, haha.

Oh the movie I can definitely get my hands on somehow, thanks for mentioning it I didn't know there was a book!

Yeah some shows are not easy to get through. I love Bates Motel but it's nothing I could binge, the pacing I think is not quite made for that. Or I could just be bad at itXD

Yeah, definitely could not binge Bates Motel, or most darker dramas. When my sister and I were catching up on Breaking Bad (we literally caught up in time to watch the last two episodes as they aired, that's all), I could really only watch two at a time. She'd be like, one more! But it was too heavy for me.

I'm still stuck in the middle of season 2 with Breaking Bad cause I feel like you, it's nothing I can watch many episodes in a row, even though I want to so I'm finished with the show. Sometimes I think I should just leave it, but I wanna know why everybody was raving about the last episodes and how could I understand if I don't watch what happened beforexD

To me Breaking Bad truly went next level in Season Three, so I'd stick with it just a little while longer and see. Right around the end of S2/beginning of S3 is when we went from "want to watch an ep or two of BrBa?" to "OMG MAKE SNACKS TURN OFF THE PHONES IT'S BREAKING BAD TIME."

Good to know! So far it does feel like a build up so it's good to hear that it'll get into things soon.

Oooh, I love Kimmy Schmidt. It's kind of the same thing that you said about Bob's Burgers - how the characters are generally good to each other. Well, except for Jacqueline, ha, but she tries.

Last Man and Brooklyn 99 were probably my favorite comedies on TV this season. Oh, and Silicon Valley.

Yeah, I find the group of Kimmy/Titus/Lillian to be just so sweet because they really do care about each other, even though it may not always seem like it from the latter two.

I haven't watched any Silicon Valley, but we're talking about doing HBO Go for a month or two; maybe I'll check it out.
