Thank you so much! Getting rec'd on crackvan reminded me that I do need to finish this; not longer after I wrote this, I bought my first house and started a second job, heh, so fic's gone on the back burner. I've definitely been actively brainstorming, though.
I know I've read another fic with this premise, but hell if I know now who wrote it/where it is. (I'm the worst, honestly.) If I come across it, I'll let you know.
