Mm, I'm so far overdue for watching BSG - I've actually been all set to buy S1 this month as soon as I get paid. Trouble is I do know a fairly huge spoiler (main character who dies around the finale). I was spoiled for so much of B5 before I got around to sitting down and watching it, and I didn't want a repeat of that. But I'm assuming this is fairly minor in the scheme of things!
You said it was spoiler-free and I trust you but I didn't read your post anyway, to be safe. Same goes for the comments. :D
