I do like the mini quite a bit. As far as series pilots go, it's a damned good one. And generally, the more I nitpick, the more it's because I love something - trust me, I am not rewatching The Woman King, for instance.
I was okay with Roslin's hair in theory, but it was so dark that it was hard to make out any shape. It reminded me of Sally Field's "brown football helmet." I'm not sure if this was because of her actual hair, or because of Joel Ransom's lighting; even when her hair is kinda tragic with the feathering in S1, it looks a lot better in that it looks like hair and not molded plasticine.
