Yeah, I thought we were meant to see Delenn's claim that her only side effects were fatigue and dizziness to be a lie, considering how uncomfortable she is in that scene with Franklin.
Menstruation isn't in the next chapter, but it is in the one after that. I figured it would take a bit for her system to get up to speed. Well, that, and I hated to throw that at her on top of everything else. Getting my period sometimes still makes ME want to just give up; I couldn't imagine if I were still trying to deal with goosebumps, having the universe put that in the mix, too.
