I don't think you'd be lost, especially since you're always better off jumping in at a premiere, because they're trying to catch up new viewers.
I am kind of afraid that you'd end up spoiling yourself for some of the really great twists and surprises from the first two seasons. So it depends on whether you'd rather try it out now and see if you like it, and you're not too worried about spoilers, or if you're more spoilerphobic about TV. This is interesting: I actually have no clue what your view on spoilers is. It's not something that really comes up in a fandom for a show that's been off the air for more than a decade, heh.
