The script may or may not ever go anywhere, that's just the business. Having a script optioned is just the first step, and unfortunately I haven't heard anything for months, so. But I've made some good contacts as a result, which is good, too!
Yeah, I had thought about posting the whole book up here, chapter by chapter, but it's actually a better idea these days not to if you're hoping to publish. I'd be happy to email you the pdf of what I have if you'd like to read it, though. :)
