It was cool! More basic than I expected, but he had a good take on the basics. He was more srs bzns than I expected, too, although of course when he was talking about spins, he was all, "Don't start with your left arm across your chest! You're cutting off your connection with your audience!" Heh.
Holllllyyyyy shit, your summer!
This was largely my reaction. Well, that and a lot of drooling and sleeping from three solid months of pain medicine. I got to the point where 10 mg of Percoset didn't really faze me, and I could totally drive on 5 mg.
I'm glad that you came through okay
Thanks!
My little sister ended up with C. diff after a run of antibiotics
Oh, yeah, I had that too, a couple weeks after I got out of the hospital. It was kind of anticlimactic. Anything that can be dealt with on an outpatient basis and doesn't nearly kill off an organ is not that big a deal to me now.
which really put me off of them for anything outside of most dire need; your story doesn't help!
Yup. Just because the C. diff was the least of my worries doesn't mean I want it again. I'll be giving future sinus infections, bronchitis, etc. plenty of time to heal on their own before going to the employee clinic that dispenses antibiotics if you so much as sneeze.
