this machine will not communicate

Yeah, there's four people including myself in my local writers' group doing NaNo, and there's a definite sense of being in something together, like compadres, or something. It's kind of silly, but it works. Silly, unattainable goals usually work for me anyway, though, as I don't really get discouraged if I fall short. I figure I still made more progress than I would have otherwise.
