Sorting out the order of 25-1 was reallllly tough. I switched things like ten times last night.

My hope anytime I do these kinds of posts is to convince just one person to try out just one new show. Most of the shows I love the most I first tried because of graphics or icons or meta or what-have-you.

Ugh, you have to watch Deadwood. You have to. It's a practically flawless show. And I could have put up pretty much every single line of Al's, that's how amazing his dialogue is.

Girl, have you not watched S5 of B5? That's dedication! (I kinda did the same thing, though. After tearing through S3-4, it took me months to watch 5, and a solid month just to watch the last four episodes.)

(Looking back, I saw "Sleeping in Light" on what turned out to be my last Thanksgiving at my grandparents' house. I'm really glad I didn't know that at the time.)

So awesome! And I haven't even finished watching S1 yet. After just the pilot I was like, dear Lord, this is the best new character to be on TV in aaaaages. And so much of that was due to JL, really.

Aeryn Sun at 49? NOOO!! Come on. The fact that she could give birth to a baby (no epidural BTW), then shoot and kick ass ten minutes later should've gotten her in the top ten (LOL). But, damn, then you went and pulled a Maxwell frickin Smart out your ass. Gotta love your list on old-school props alone.

Well, I'm only a few episodes into Season 2 on Farscape, so the fact that she made the list at all is a testament to what a great character she is. (Boo for spoilers! Not that you would know, it's cool.) Get Smart was one of my very favorite shows as a kid; Maxwell/99 was probably my first real ship, if you don't count Link/Zelda, heh.

I caught all the Farscape shows a few months back on one of the television archive sites. Gotta love John and Aeryn. Their romance is closer to what one would read in romance novels, full of angst, disagreement,and denial. Frustrating at times but so lovely and well acted. Let me know what you think once you're able to watch more. And definitely watch the Peacekeeper Wars once you're finished with the final season.
