Oh, me too. I loved HRG pretty much from episode one. I found him so much more interesting than pretty much any of the specials, tbh.

I know exactly what you mean. He was the one character that would do whatever it took to keep those he loved safe, even if it included killing a kid or, just, doing what no one else wood.
