When I was working on my first - and only - quilt, I ripped one seam five times. It took me a week. To do one seam.

I still haven't finished the thing. All I have to do is blind stitch the binding, but I got so frustrated with it I had to put it away.

Eeep. I sympathize with the sewing woes. Sewing machines are kind of evil, I think. They always screw up right when you least need them to.

I wish I could lay all the blame at the machine's feet, but I just don't have as much manual dexterity as I wish I did. I'm also really bad with not being able to adequately visualize how to do something and trying to do it anyway and getting so frustrated I just make it worse.

I was trying to sew by hand and that didn't really work either. :/

No, I haven't seen much of How I Met Your Mother! Although I've seen a few episodes sporadically, so I know what you're talking about, lol. :D

But I totally do it too! Lol, sometimes my friends and I will have complete conversations in ~song. It's the best.
