It's funny how none of these three actually end in -land... Basically, they're online challenge communities geared toward fandom. So for Fringeverse, it's just for the show Fringe (and that's probably the most specific landcomm I've seen). Everyone's sorted onto a team, and there are challenges posts that range from the ridiculously easy (coloring pages!) to the fairly difficult and time-consuming. As an example of the latter, TVRealm just put up a challenge to make a top 50 list of something, with an image for each of the 50. That's a lot of work.
You get points, and you're trying to help your team win. The points obviously don't matter, except for how they do. They're just kind of a fun thing to do on the internet, I guess. I enjoy them. (Which is why I'm in four...)
