Part the Second:

This had a slightly different feel to it than the first one - I got a little sadface for John, and the fact that his son didn't know about Halloween. Poor guy! But, you know, then he puts on his Stategic Thinking Hat and he brings Halloween to Minbar, not just for his son, but for everybody. And then it made me wonder how the Minbari WOULD view something like Halloween. I think Christmas they could maybe wrap their heads around (at least the "honoring the birth of a religious icon" part; maybe not so much the present-wrapping part?), but you know. You do a good job of expressing that an alien culture might have some questions about the WHY of Halloween.

Remember what you said back at Thanksgiving, about how it doesn't make sense? Yeah. I wonder how the Minbari would feel about Thanksgiving, given that they, like, give thanks for every-frickin-thing all the time. "You are only thankful one day a year? I do think your people should be more respectful of one another."
