Heh; are you sure he wasn't mansplaining Tron to you? Maybe it was common knowledge and I just never ended up reading about it, IDK; I was just glad to hear it, in any event! Sadly, I was kind of thinking about it some more, and figured that his CGI unaging will probably not be as creepy, because he's fairly close to the same weight he was back then. I think part of why JB looks so uncanny valley is that he's obviously put on some weight and the young face looks kind of oddly puffy (it actually reminds me of Pee Wee Herman's jerk friend that steals his bike). And I don't think Bruce's face will end up looking like that.
