Now I'm looking even more forward to where this goes. Is it selfish to say that I'm glad you had to submit the pilot yesterday so now you have more time to write fic? ;)
I know what happens in the last chapter, and I know three major events that happen along the way. (The rest I am winging, LOL.)
This is the way that I write long stories. And what usually happens is I end up getting stranded in the middle, kind of like that workout plateau I understand that fitness-types hit (sadly, I personally know nothing about this.) And I spend one to three weeks dicking around in the middle, trying to figure out how to make A, B and C string together to the ending I want. I thought writing my AU from an outline would change that, but I was wrong. My outline has been shot to hell. I'm still dicking around at the climax of the story, looking at three characters and saying, "How many of you are going to die?"
(This is Marcus's fault, btw. It wouldn't have happened if he hadn't piped up and said, "I wanna be in the story tooooooo!")
