The first one was when I finally said, I love Olivia. Because I hadn't really warmed up to her at first. But then here comes this episode where she's kidnapped, and the set-up was so obvious: she'll be in danger all hour and Walter and Peter will have to do all kinds of mad science stuff to figure out where she is and they'll finally rescue her in the nick of time at the end of the hour.
And then she rescued herself before the end of the teaser. It's also when I fell in love (instead of just liking and enjoying) the show.
I kinda think I went too texture/light happy on the top one. I get a kick out of using caps of Fringe lens flares as a light texture on Fringe graphics, IDK.
Oh! I am working on icons for my Big Bang, and I'm going through the texture folder you sent me. There is so much stuff in there! I played with the same icon for about an hour yesterday, because I just kept putting new textures on it, LOL.
I sort of remember watching that first one initially. I didn't really think about what would happen, but I definitely didn't expect her to kick everyone's ass, be awesome and realistic about it, before the credits! And then never stop being awesome. So yeah, once I saw that episode, I definitely took notice. And I'm so glad the show is keeping up her personality pretty well. I was (and still am sorta) so afraid they would tone her down somehow in the new season, but they haven't yet.
I think the flares and textures look good on that one though personally. You do it well, and make it sort of match the feel and emotion of the scene!
I'm glad you are getting use out of the (badly organized) textures folder! I feel pretty much the same way about the ones you shared too, there's so many I'm just dying to use and so I go through tons of them just on one icon alone!
