Just because the C. diff was the least of my worries doesn't mean I want it again. I'll be giving future sinus infections, bronchitis, etc. plenty of time to heal on their own before going to the employee clinic that dispenses antibiotics if you so much as sneeze.

Oh, yeah. For me it was as simple as the fact that the last few times I'd been on antibiotics, they didn't seem to do anything. I remember being younger and feeling a huge improvement from one day to the next once I started - but lately? I'm not sure there's any point, if it's just for something relatively simple like a sinus infection (or an ear infection for me, more likely).

The only thing that makes me pause is that my dad has a compromised immune system, so sometimes I think, maybe I should err on the side of caution for his sake? It's a tough call in that regard.
