(I should have requested a vacation day when I saw how things were going, but I didn't.  And I'm like incapable of calling in sick when I'm not actually sick - probably because I have a hard time calling in sick even when I am actually sick.  BUT I WILL MAKE THIS WORK.)

Say you are German! We have a national holiday (I guess it's kind of our labour day? At least when you translate itxD) so you don't have to call in sick/get a day off, because everybody has a day off naturally^^

Well, we do like our holidays. ;) It's Labour Day, so I can't even really say it applies to me yet, what with how I don't have a job. And my only class this term is on Thursdays, so you could've totally had my Labour Day. ;)
